Rabiye Basturk graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Ankara University in the year 2020. She began her university life at METU in 2013 and continued at Ankara University after transferring in 2015. Throughout her university life, she participated in numerous seminars and events related to the chemical industry. Additionally, during her university education, she actively contributed to social responsibility projects such as TEGV, TEMA, and the Turkey Intelligence Foundation, handling both organizational and planning aspects.

Furthermore, Rabiye participated in student communities at both METU and Ankara University, engaging in team projects related to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and composite vehicles.

During her university years, Rabiye pursued hobbies such as calligraphy, playing the ney (flute), and taekwondo. Since 2016, as a volunteer in the industry, she has been translating biographies of scientists who have contributed to the field of chemistry from English to Turkish for the largest online chemistry magazine. From the third year onward, she has been translating and compiling articles on topics such as hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, nanotechnology, green chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and more. These translations are published in the online magazine.

From the time she graduated in 2020 until she entered the workforce, Rabiye received training in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). She also obtained a Class C Occupational Safety Specialist Certification. In addition, she authored informative articles related to chemistry on a website dedicated to education.

In 2021, Rabiye commenced her professional career at Chemleg Consultancy, initially focusing on technical translation and later taking on the role of team leadership. During her tenure, she worked on the translation, organization, evaluation, and entry into the Chemical Registration System of Chemical Registration dossiers in compliance with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation (KKDIK). She successfully led the registration entry process with annexes in the single representative registration process and became an expert in the field. As a team leader, she gained experience in annual planning, invoicing, weekly meetings, team cohesion, and effective communication skills.

She completed her Chemical Evaluation Specialist and Class C Occupational Safety Specialist training and exams in 2022, and was entitled to receive a certificate and received the title of Expert in both fields.

She is proficient in advanced English and has basic knowledge of German and Japanese. Rabiye, whose fundamental motto is to be one step ahead of yesterday, continues to develop herself with an unwavering enthusiasm for personal and professional growth.
