About the Paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress

The Paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress is an event held almost every year, bringing together leading representatives from the paint and coatings industries. This congress serves as a platform to discuss sectoral developments and technical innovations. Through poster and oral presentations, the congress aims to provide valuable insights to the industry and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

Chemleg Took Part in the Congress

The congress, held in Istanbul on May 27–28 this year, hosted numerous local and international participants. Chemleg supported this comprehensive event as a sponsor and had the opportunity to welcome visitors at its booth, where it introduced its services related to chemical regulations. Our expert team provided information to attendees on various topics such as the registration of chemical substances, labeling, preparation of safety data sheets, and compliance with European Union legislation.

One of our founding partners, Mehmet Yolcu, also delivered a presentation titled “Poison Centre Notification (PCN) and Key Changes in the CLP Regulation”. In this presentation, the technical and legal framework of the PCN process, the generation of UFI codes, and their importance in product labeling were discussed in detail. Additionally, the recent amendments to the CLP Regulation, their potential impact on the industry, and how companies should prepare for these changes were also addressed.
