"Cleaning Product Containing Strong Acid/ Base" has at a certain amount strong acid or strong base in its formulation or/and with pH amount is less than 2 or more than 11.

"Detergent" and "Cleaning Products Containing Strong Acid/Base" are both used for washing and cleaning purposes. However, the presence and amount of the Strong Acid or Strong Base and/or product's pH range determines the product's category.

The obligation to notify the Ministry of Customs and Trade of the Republic of Turkey for "Cleaning Products Containing Strong Acids/Bases" to be placed on the market in Turkey has been abolished. However, manufacturers who place their products on the market within the scope of the legislation keep the Safety Data Sheet, Label and Technical File of the product in their company to submit to the Ministry upon request.

The Technical Dossier is the dossier prepared for "Cleaning Products Containing Strong Acids or Bases". This dossier is not submitted to the relevant Ministry. However, it is mandatory to keep it under the "Notification Owner Company" in order to be submitted to the inspectors during the inspections to be carried out. The technical dossier contains detailed information about the product and documents proving that the necessary permits have been obtained regarding the fact that it is not harmful to health.

Technical Dossier of "Cleaning Product Containing Strong Acid/Base" is prepared by the product owner company and is kept within the company. The technical dossier is not submitted to the Ministry.
